The final finishes on the duplex reno!

I'm so excited to be receiving orders for the final finishes on the renovation project we've been working on these past couple months: the duplex reno. This will bring our rental portfolio to SIX. I cannot believe I'm typing this! We worked so hard to find, buy and renovate each of these properties.

All of the lighting fixtures have come in...

... and I am LOOOVING them all so far.

From top to bottom, the uber modern black cylinder light will go outside. The wire frame geometric lights are for the front foyer. And I ordered two of the black and gold globe lights, shown at bottom, to go above each of the bathroom vanities!

I had originally planned on installing two-tone kitchen cabinets. But due to coronavirus, we had to piece together whatever we could find or face extensive delays. So the kitchen in unit one is all gray. But the kitchen in unit two (my favorite) has gray lowers and white uppers!

I ordered black square pulls and knobs. The little square knobs will go on doors and the big 6-inch pulls are for drawers. I was over at the house today and held up the sconce where it will go above the kitchen sink and the white gloss finish inside the sconce looks sooo good next to the white upper cabinets!

The front hall of this house could be my favorite room of all! Which is great, because it's the first thing people will see. The painters are back at work now, so I can't wait to share the board and batten hall once it's painted!

A major room I'm leaving out of this post are the baths, which are looking SO good. But I'm going to hold off on sharing the finishes here, since we are featuring this room in this spring's Better Homes & Gardens One Room Challenge. I'll have an update on that tomorrow!
