Before-and-after bathroom remodel

This was the last un-renovated space in our home. It was too small to be a bedroom and our other bathroom is small, so we decided to go for it!

After

I originally wanted to run Cararra marble throughout this space, but it is extremely expensive. This house is not our 'forever home'. So we compromised and installed this printed Calacatta ceramic and I love how it turned out.

On the floor, we used a hex version of the same tile.

If you read about the DIY wood vanity we installed in a flip, you know I love white oak in a bathroom. But it's tough to find a wood vanity that is affordable.

I thought I got a great deal on this vanity at $629.00. Full price is $799.00. But I've seen it discounted down to $479.40! That's 40% off.

We purchased the countertop separately.

I selected this white vitreous china countertop.

We used matte black fixtures throughout this bath, including this faucet from Amazon. I've had mixed results with faucets purchased off Amazon, but this one I recommend.

The black showerhead is by Delta, I actually don't recommend this one. The spray pattern is not great and is not adjustable.

I think the vanity light is my favorite finish in this room.

This light is by George Kovacs Lighting.

I also love how the board and batten turned out. This was my first time installing wainscot board and batten and it was so easy! It only cost us about $90.

This week, I'll post how we did it. You can subscribe to our e-mail list below to get all our updates!
